Kraken Mixed and Men's Netball Club
Kraken Mixed and Men's Netball Club is a thriving and inclusive netball club based in Gloucestershire, founded in 2022. Since its formation, the club has been dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where players of all abilities, backgrounds, and experience levels can develop their skills and enjoy the sport.
Whether you're a seasoned player looking for high-level competition or a beginner keen to learn the game, Kraken offers opportunities for everyone.The club runs both performance and development squads, catering to players interested in either competitive or recreational netball. Kraken competes in both men's and mixed netball competitions, providing members with the chance to take part in local and national tournaments.
One of the club’s proudest achievements to date is its participation in the EMMNA National Championships, where it has competed three times, securing a tenth-place finish in 2024 and a ninth-placed finish in 2025.
Training sessions take place once a week and are led by a Level 2 qualified coach, ensuring structured and engaging sessions designed to improve fitness, teamwork, and gameplay. Beyond training and competition, Kraken fosters a strong sense of community, regularly organising social events and team-building activities to bring members together off the court.
As the club continues to grow, it remains committed to its core values of inclusivity, teamwork, and passion for netball.
